Comics/fantasy writer Neil Gaiman came to our show in Minneapolis on Thursday. (Technically, he came to Jonathan’s show, and we just happened to be there as well) He was friendly, gracious, and as cool as you could want him to be. Plus, he said nice things about us on his blog afterwards. (If he hadn’t, this would probably be a post about what a dick he was). Thanks, Neil! (May we call you Neil now?)

The Minneapolis show was the best shows I have ever been to. And I’ve seen TMBG.
When I heard that Neil Gaiman was there, he had actually just been carded. Is that some geek sin? Anywho, I was too shy to come up to you guys and tell you how awesome you were. I was one of the four people who “Woo”ed when you asked if anyone knew of you two previous to the show. I really hope you guys come back and play Minneapolis again. With or without JoCo, I’ll throw money at you either way.
Definitely a fantastic show — I hadn’t heard of you before, and so enjoying your part of the set was especially a highlight.
Great show! We had a fun time and hope you make it back this way again (we also bought a few cds).
I am absolutely envious of the amazing picture taken by Sharon Snyder because a) it turned out so well and b) it meant the picture proves that she was there too. LUCKY!

I was at the show in Minneapolis and had never heard of you before. You guys were beyond awesome. Most opening acts are moderately lame, but you were not. So, yay for you! *makes sound like encouraging pirate*
Also, my little geek heart is all aflutter at that photo of four lovely geekly fellows.
Delightful show…. you lived up to my aparently-not-unrealistically-high expectations.
And I even got to share a microphone with Paul… *swoon* Hubba hubba, highlight of my evening. 😉
