Show #011: A Pleasant Sort of Vomiting

The eleventh episode of our podcast, Paul and Storm Talk About Some Stuff for Five to Ten Minutes (On Average), is now online. (Sorry about the delay!)

In this episode: Mom’s spaghetti, and the supernatural powers of mushrooms; recapping our CA trip; a ridiculously detailed discussion of chicken pie; burger disappointment, mitigated by garlic; and Storm suggests various possible new U.S. national holidays.

Audience participation alert! Please take part in the poll below regarding establishing a new national holiday; or suggest other possibilities in the comments.

Featured post-show song: “She’s Dead” – Jim’s Big Ego

    Hey, don’t diss the ‘shrooms!

Comfort foods: mashed potatoes and brown gravy, pulled pork anything (same goes for carnitas), bacon-wrapped scallops. Hey, anyone remember the chili spaghetti from Bob’s Big Boy? Always a favorite for me as a kid–spaghetti with meaty chili topped with a slice or two of American cheese.

Discomfort foods: uni (sea urchin), raw eggs, heavy mayo on a sandwich, chocolate desserts with fruity sauce, white chocolate.

Hey guys, I’m having some trouble finding an email address to send my minion photo to. Your contact page only shows the info for your booking agent. So I’ll just give you the link here. http://tinyurl.com/3m8e7v

Also thanks for the great show on Sunday. I literally bruised my finger from clapping too hard.

Much as I enjoy ITLAP Day, I think suffrage is a little more worthy of national celebration. It is a bit close to Labor Day, but it’s at the end of Summer so I think that’s okay.
