I'd love to see a w00tstock with the current lineup in Toronto as well.

As for Supernatural, I too felt that Supernatural was jumping the shark last season, but I think they've really brought back the awesome, fun feel of the show from seasons 2 and 3. Show's still really, really good.

Hey Josh,

For what it's worth, I understand that the creator of the show wants to end the series after this season. I admit it would be a bit much to keep the show going after confronting Lucifer, but I think it makes for a fine climax.

Hi Guys,

Seen you last night at the Classic Grand in Glasgow. I hasn't heard of you guys before but I was pleasantly surprised. That pirate interaction stuff with the audience made my cheeks hurt.

I totally agree about Supernatural. I really like this show but "jumping the shark" is exactly what is happening. The first few seasons of hunting were great but it is kind of hard to go back to that when you have Lucifer on your tail!

Hey Storm,

I still enjoy "Supernatural." In what way has it jumped the shark for you? I'm not going all indignant fanboy, mind you, I'm just curious.

Thanks,

Mike Phirman is just lovely. I said back during MaxFunCon that he's the Storm. Oh, and if you ever want the goods on HnP, I've got video of their enterainalicious, Sweepstakes-award-winning performance at UCLA's Spring Sing in '95. Chris is sporting his Singled Out hair. :-)

Most of my wishes aren't so much things I really wish for as they are things I could do if I dedicated more time and effort to them. (Play various instruments, write songs, etc...) There are also a couple that are of the starfucker variety, but I'm too embarrassed to share. ::blush::

I have no w00tstock wishes other than it happening in a place that was closer than California (i.e. somewhere in the Midwest). I do like the idea of Len being involved in person, but, then again, I’m kind of a Len fangirl. :)

My wishes:

-I wish someone would pay for me to travel, so I could sample wines, eat the local cuisine, and experience zip line courses around the world.
-Related to that, I’d love to be a contestant on The Amazing Race with my husband.
-I wish education was more of a priority (budget-wise) so I wouldn’t have to worry about being laid off every year; then I could focus my energy on being the kind of teacher who inspires her students and actually makes a difference.
-I wish I could play piano.
-I wish I could be more articulate and charming, especially in situations where I feel incredibly shy.

Bonus wish: I wish Paul and Storm would come back to Michigan more often. ;)

Don't feel bad for liking Glee, Paul. I know many people who are enjoying it even as we nitpick certain aspects. I've gotten crap for a lot of things over the years, but the only ones that really stung were the friends in junior high who derided me for watching seaQuest DSV and listening to New Kids on the Block long past the height of their popularity. [/no-longer-secret shame]

Having listened to the entirety of the w00tstock LA audio (and watched parts of all three on the YouTubes), I'm quite pleased that another round is coming. Got my fingers crossed that you'll be headed in my direction. I'll have to get my laugh muscles into training.

* I wish I could get paid for all the time I've spent (and will undoubtedly continue to spend) creating reference materials for the geeky things I love.
* I wish I was confident enough to tell people how I'm feeling more often, good or bad.
* I want a house big enough to hold all my books, present and future, preferably in floor-to-ceiling, built-in, adjustable wooden shelves. There should also be a cat in said house. Maybe a den with a fireplace.
* I wish I had better culinary knife skills. (And a set of really nice knives.) I love to cook and I just want to be able to do it a little faster.
* I want to find a hobby I enjoy enough to stick with it long enough to get really good at it. Not just passably okay, but good enough that I can be truly proud of my own accomplishments.

Wishes:
1. I want to fly by some means where there is nothing between me and the air rushing against me.(Ultra-light/skydive/rocketpack)
2. I want to drink scotch or whiskey with a Nobel Laureate.
3. In the distant future, I want to be a Scoutmaster for my children.
4. I want to see the green flash and St. Elmo's fire (not the film)
5. I want to be able to do a standing backflip.

Wootstock: Minneapolis. I would like to see Molly Lewis of course. The RiffTones, 2/3 of the RiffTones live near Minneapolis! They could Riff a Short subject and Sing a few songs. Hannah Friedman should be on the Wootstock bill somewhere. She's cool. http://www.writinghannah.com/ Song Fu vets Jeff MacDougall and Mike Lombardo would be good Wootstockers. Heck, I should be on the bill, you just don't realize that yet!

I would like to see Len Peralta draw a Monster by Mail LIVE (projected up on a screen), while bantering back and forth with Nora. That drawing should be run to a Copy store and copies should be given to the audience as they exit as a souvenir.

Five geeky wishes:
1. I'd like to sing a duet with Molly Lewis, Felicia Day and/or Sara Parsons.
2. I'd like to meet Shonen Knife and Lady Aberlin. Together or separately.
3. I'd like a nice computer and learn how to record with it.
4. I want to play something other than "Oh Susanna" on the harmonica.
5. I want to own a nice Ukulele and Melodica and record them both in a song.

You guys are so right about the charmingness of Mike Phirman. He's one of the most delightful people I've ever met.

If/when w00tstock comes back to SF, please have Kid Beyond as part of the line up again. His performance was completely mind blowing, and I can't get enough of muppets and hip hop.

I wish I had a library with one of those rolling ladders.
I wish I had more space to sew.
I wish I could play the theremin, well.
I wish I had an unlimited tea budget.
I wish I could make a living as a fiber artist.

I'd like to see w00tstock period. Preferably near where I live, which is near DC.

I wish to get through college with relative ease
I wish to meet someone who has seen all the movies and read all the books I have
I wish to finally meet Paul and Storm (See, if you come to DC I can do that one)
I wish I could finally go to PAX
I wish I didn't need to make wishes

Just searched for 20 minutes for the epic 15-min L.A. w00tstock Captain's Wife's Lament on YouTube, and I'm sad to report that it's not there. The only w00tstock performance of that song on there is the San Francisco one.
