Why not start writing down some of those “”…” is our emo band” names?

-Barenaked Ladies (started out as a duo)
-Dashboard Confessional (started out as a soloist)

@Erin: Seriously! Maybe we should move to twitter, they’ll never find us there! It’s not like we’ve ever posted our twitter handles or anything…oh, wait, crap… Besides, we don’t want them thinking that the minions are talking amongst themselves and plotting. No. Never plotting. Why would we do that? No reason for a minion to plot. Nope.

@Tam: interesting Brisco/Burn Notice paradox you bring up. At least the ‘Brisco’ theme song lives on as the sports theme for NBC. BTW, have you gotten the DVD set? If not get it! Bruce Campbell commentary for the pilot episode!

Regarding the duo names, you guys DO have the added bonus of one of you being named Storm which isn’t exactly common. Although the 1st time I saw you I think the marquee listed you as “Paul Storm”.

Besides it’s been so long when the show was last in production that the new episodes wouldn’t be able to rival the awesomeness of the originals anyway!

As far as my favorite drink goes, I’m impartial to a good milkshake. Do milkshakes count as drinks?

Also, I agree with Ann – quit hacking into our messages!

@Ann: Maybe we’ll have to take our P&S conversations somewhere other than Facebook. If they read our serious song conversation, then they might have also seen the parts where we discussed how awesome we think they are, and, well, then they might get the idea that we like them. That would totally ruin the cool, disinterested image we’ve set up for ourselves.

Also, people always forget that the core of the Alan Parsons Project was really two guys–although Parsons was the name and the producer, Eric Woolfson wrote almost all of the songs (a handful were cowritten with Parsons) and sang a fair number of them.

I’ve had the Ayinger Oktoberfest before; It wasn’t what I was expecting but was still pretty good. I’m eagerly waiting for Blue Moon’s winter brew “Full Moon” to be out. It makes winter all worthwhile.

The first step in the cowboy resurgence should be putting “The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.” back on the air hasta pronto. Bruce Campbell as a cowboy? Oh hells yes.

All the old songs play just fine, but the new song and all the podcasts say “File Not Found”.

Of course, you’d have to go heavy metal and/or goth. But hey.

Thanks again for the great show in Ann Arbor last night. I really enjoyed seeing/hearing you play trumpet live, Paul. But, that may just be the band geek in me.

I tend more toward Paul’s end of the alcoholic beverage spectrum (i.e. single malt vs. bourbon), except I do enjoy a good beer of the red or brown ale variety. And tequila. And sake. (Okay, so I’m diverse.) For daytime, I’m a big fan of water, juices, and fruity teas, depending on the ambient temperature. And, of course, my mandatory morning coffee without which I am zombie!girl. I can’t stand any variety of brown soda — cola, root beer, all gross — but Schweppes ginger ale is awesome.

I don’t see as there’s any problem with using your names, but if you want to find a “group name” for your seriouser music… Yeah, I got nuthin’. Well, except Mid-Atlantic Groove, but even I know that’s pretty lame. (Yes, I made a music/geology pun. You wanna make something of it?)
