I think it’s okay that you’re doing PAX and not Dragon*Con this year. I saw Chris Judge (of Stargate fame) try to do two conventions on two coasts — Burbank and Boston — in one weekend a few years back, and it wasn’t pretty. He was a good sport about the whole thing, but he was clearly hurting by the end of Sunday afternoon.

Ooh! Scratch ‘N Sniff stickers! We had both fruity and non-fruity varieties. I distinctly remember there being one that smelled (kinda) like skunk.

Never tried poutine — yet — but I’ve heard tell of a place in Montreal that does foie gras poutine. Tres chic.

I had an idea for a franchise name. Then Poutiney Weenie knocked it right out of my head. Go, Scott.

I don’t much care for cats, so I can’t offer any explanation as to why cat videos are popular. They hold no allure for me, alas.

Also, while poutine itself sounds scrumptious, the word sounds vaguely dirty.

I love poutine with all my heart disease, ever since our brief encounter in Ontario nearly five years ago. I wish it were available here.

Before I saw the poll, I was going to suggest simply ‘Canadian Fries’, but even though a similar option is on the poll, I had to go for Monkey fries.

@Scott: Poutiney Weenie sounds like a winner to me.

I’ve been wanting to try poutine since I heard about it on episode 49 of Munchcast (an episode all about cheese = win!). I wholeheartedly agree that it should be brought to the US. You know, if one of the other minions wants to start a franchise, I’d be happy to help test the food to make sure it’s safe to give to the general public.

Why are cat videos so awesome? I think Storm has a bit of a point with their aloofness, and Paul’s likening of nerds to cats sorta works. I’ve seen some morons who prefer cats, though, and some brilliant people who only like dogs, so that surely doesn’t factor in… Really, though, cats just have a certain je ne sais quois. I’m sure the unpredictability doesn’t hurt, either.

“Monkey Fries” is the coolest, but I had to vote “Gravy Davey’s” since it would have the widest appeal.

Ug. I like fries, but when it’s this hot out something that looks like poutine is really not appetizing. Also, malls are going the way of the dinosaurs (but, wait, the dinosaurs are coming, I guess…). You’ll need to dress it up a little and have your poutine shop in a town center boutique. Maybe call it Poutique? Poutiqueri?
