You know you grew up in a small town and can name names when you hear a song like this. This guy sounds like one of my brother's dumber friends.

Also, I am in agreement with everyone else that your songs should be on Bandcamp, with which I try, but fail to find fault.

Roman: AAC is also an open format, and more widespread thanks to Apple's use of them as the format for all download songs in the iTunes store. Just because it's used by Apple doesn't mean that Apple is the proprietor of the format like with Apple Lossless, you know.

No the download link was fixed, no problems there.

In general MP3s are not sustainable, as eventually the patent fees associated with them will drive them out of use. The future is open - Vorbis it up, yo!

I'm glad I'm not the only one clamoring for FLAC versions of your songs. That said, I own all three actual CDs, so I was able to rip those to FLAC myself, and the 25 Days of Newman were offered in FLAC, so I have that too. So I'm really only missing a few songs, like the ones done for the Masters of Song Fu and the Odds 'n' Ends.

No issues here. (Using IE) Thanks for offering this. I was just thinking yesterday that it was fitting that I found this song this week. I love it and DS finds it hysterically funny.

Hmm...download link working just fine in Firefox & Safari on Mac, and in IE. What are you using? Anyone else having issues with the download link?

Re: Ogg-Vorbis/FLAC...several reasons:

- we're lazy
- there hasn't been much call for them
- to release in higher audio quality will only serve to highlight the lo-fi, spit-n-duct-tape recording quality of some of the stuff.

Mostly that first reason, though; one day, eventually, we'll get round to converting everything and uploading it and setting up the links.

I've told you this on Twitter, but the download link is broken, it links to .mp not .mp3, which reminds me - why don't you offer FLAC and or Ogg-Vorbis? In the latter case the file size is smaller and the audio quality is higher compared to MP3, and in FLAC, well that's full quality, obviously, so comparing that is Apples vs. Oranges...
