If you’re new to our music, the "Songs" page can be a bit dizzying—what to listen to first? And while we like to imagine that any one of our songs could be someone’s favorite, it’s probably not true. Though some songs we’re more proud of than others (we won’t say which; parents have to love all of their children equally), there are definitely tunes of ours that more people seem to like. So if your time is limited, here’s a quick peek at some of our fan favorites:

Nun Fight What ordained Pay-per-view boxing might sound like.

Your Love Is A touching ballad, so long as you don’t listen to the lyrics. Features the sensitive guitar stylings of Jonathan Coulton.

Opening Band A favorite of bands everywhere. Not our funniest song, but it has the ring of truth (and you can groove your boom-boom to it).

Randy Newman’s “Theme from The Passion of the Christ” Every movie could be made better with a Randy Newman theme song. Every movie.

A Better Version of You One for the children.

Strip Club Daddy (a.k.a. "Kid in the Strip Club") Based on the true story of a man who left his kid in the car as he visite a strip club. A minor hit on "Bob & Tom".

Rejected Commercial Jingles: Twister, Domino’s Pizza, Pillsbury Cookie Dough Step 1: Real products. Step 2: ??? Step 3: Lawsuits.

Ten-Finger Johnny A Fourth of July Irish murder ballad that’s sure to become a classic at any time of year.

Hip Shop Barbershop covers of hip-hop songs: two great tastes that taste great together.

If you’re here seeking information about Da Vinci’s Notebook, the bad news is that the band is on double-secret Buck Rodgers in the Space Shuttle hiatus and no longer maintains a website. But the good news is that you can find an archived version (old and mummified, really) here. Just be advised that the pages aren’t fully operational, and much of the information you’ll find (tour dates, contact info, etc.) is about as useful as a raincoat made out of toilet paper. Finally, if you’re looking for DVN CDs, click here.
